Drug Advertisements on TV

Thoughts starting a new week are on ads.
I try not to notice ads but I have noticed drug ads because of the bizarre way they are presented. For a while there were ads that told us about a pill but never really said what the pill was for, that was puzzling, but they made us feel we needed that pill anyway. With a little research I found when they advertise a pill in that way they did not have to give you the possible side affects, and there was the catch. Now most of the drug companies have figured out they need to tell you what the pill does and in doing so they have to list, verbally, the side affects. This is the incredibly scary part because they have to list all of the side affects no matter how minuscule the percentage of cases had them. When you hear the list associated with pretty much any drug it does not translate well on TV as in, nausea, vomiting, Diarrhea, HeadachE, STROKE, you get the picture, there is no way you are asking for that drug.
So the thought today after reading this blog about drugs you may want to consult your doctor to see if this blog is safe for you.
